During his previous stint at CINAR (1992-2000), Mr. Fournier played a key role in marketing award winning kids' properties such as Arthur, Caillou, Mona the Vampire, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, Are you Afraid of the Dark?, The Little Lulu Show and Lassie to name a few, truly international successes.
At TVA International in 2000-2001, as President of the Youth and Animation Unit, he acted as the Executive Producer of Popular Mechanics for Kids, The Boy, Xcalibur, Bellflower Bunnies and the 3-D animated feature Kaena, The Prophecy among others.
After graduating from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies, Louis Fournier began his career in marketing, working mainly in the area of corporate communications. In 1987, he joined the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television where he worked on several televised film and television award presentations. In 1989, he served as Director of International Sales for Aska Film International, a Canadian company producing and distributing theatrical feature films.
