Loredana Cunti is an independent media consultant specializing in the international business and creative development of children's and family programming.
Loredana began her career in film and television as Director of Sales for independent film and television producer and distributor Malofilm International.
In 1997, she was moved to London to join PolyGram Filmed Entertainment as Vice President, Children's Programming launching the specialty programming division. Later, in the merger with Universal Studios, she continued in her role finding new intellectual property and overseeing the worldwide sales and marketing rollout of children's programs including those relating to the merchandising and video divisions.
She went on to become Senior Vice President of Universal Pictures Visual Programming, a boutique production and acquisition unit of Universal Studios. As head of the family programming area, she was in charge of all production, acquisition of new intellectual property and the development of new series from the independent creative community. She served as executive producer for in-house productions such as Sitting Ducks and Maisy and as creative executive on third party properties. In distribution, she oversaw the business activities and initiated the drive into new areas of media including music soundtracks, educational and series-based book publishing, live stage shows and electronic gaming.
Her experience in the brand management, identification and acquisition of key properties include Barbie in the Nutcracker, Franklin, X-Men, Boo! and Hi 5.
