Michael is responsible for creative, editorial and managerial leadership, as a member of the CBBC Senior Team. With more than 15 years in international broadcasting, he is a highly experienced television executive specialising in children's programmes, with extensive knowledge of content development, production management and programme acquisition. Throughout his career Michael has worked for some of the world's premier television companies including Network Ten Australia, The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel and Create TV & Film Limited.
