Jane began her licensing career with the Jim Henson Organization as International Account Manager in January 1983, where she worked on the launch of Fraggle Rock in the UK. Following roles of increasing responsibility, she was promoted to Director of Licensing and managed the international business for the Classic Muppets re-launch and debut of Muppet Babies throughout Europe. In January 1990, she was one of the original principals at Hit Entertainment.
Jane joined Hasbro in April 1993 with the task of strategically expanding and developing Hasbro's core brands into lifestyle and promotional categories in the international market place. In September of 2001, Jane was promoted to President of the Hasbro Properties Group with worldwide responsibility for further extending Hasbro's brands into a variety of entertainment platforms, publishing, promotions and consumer products categories. HPG is also responsible for the development of fully branded retail programs across multiple channels of trade around the world.
HPG has enjoyed wide-ranging success leveraging many of the Company's core brands. Hasbro's Action Man brand boasts a broad licensing program throughout Europe and Australia. In 2003, HPG successfully established My Little Pony as a lifestyle brand, with programs in publishing, apparel, footwear, bedding, and more. Other key Hasbro brands with successful licensing programs include Monopoly, Transformers, Tonka and Playskool, among others.
Jane is married to Ian, and has a 4 -year-old daughter, Victoria Jane, and a 1 year-old son Alexander. Jane and her family now reside in RI.
