Prior to launching Consolidated Baily in the spring of 2001, Evan spent eight years at Nickelodeon in a variety of creative leadership positions. He went on to oversee production of the first season of "Pelswick," which launched to critical raves.
Evan first became interested in development during three years spent as Staff Writer in Nickelodeon's Producer's Group. In this role he wrote for many of Nick's original productions, including the game show "Figure It Out," "CatDog," "Kenan and Kel," "The Big Help-a-thon," "And Now This," and "Inside Eddie Johnson." In 1996, as part of a small Nickelodeon team on loan to the Children's Defense Fund, Evan wrote speeches delivered to more than 125,000 people at the Stand for Children rally in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC.
He began his Nickelodeon career in the Off-Air Creative Group, where he rose to the position of Editorial Director, charged with writing and overseeing print advertising, sales tapes, marketing and promotional materials, and speeches for senior executives.
Evan graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art. He lives in Montclair, NJ with his wife, Cate, and their son, Benjamin.
