Our goal is toa cquire 200 programs for 2005 for distribution to the educational and home video markets.
What percentage or number of hours are commissioned vs. acquired? (Ie. 60% commissions/ 40% acquisitions)
Acquisitions account for 60% of our releases.
What is the average amount for acquisitions and/or license fee?
Depends upon the program.
What are you looking for right now?
Series addressing science, math, history and language arts. We are looking for programs that have a amrket place profile and strong educational content.
How do you prefer to be pitched?
Via e-mail with a synopsis and relevant information included.
What is your biggest pitch turnoff?
Not knowing what type of programming Schlessinger Media acquires and promising me that it will be a hit.
