2,028 hours per year across BBC1, BBC2, CBeebies and CBBC. We run a mixed genre schedule including Drama, Entertainment, Factual and Animation programmes; targeting children 2-12 years.
What percentage or number of hours are commissioned vs. acquired? (Ie. 60% commissions/ 40% acquisitions)
75% commissions / 15% acquisitions (25% must be commissioned through UK independent producers).
What is the average amount for acquisitions and/or license fee?

What are you looking for right now?
Standout fantasy comedy animation for 6-9 yrs audience: 30 x 27 mins or 13 mins episodes.
How do you prefer to be pitched?
One page outline by e-mail or full programme package (including series overview, 6 episode synopses, character descriptions, some example artwork, possibly a script or two) by post.
What is your biggest pitch turnoff?
"This will work for 9 to 99 year olds" or "This is going sell millions...".
